Since our inception, we have been an independent, woman-owned court reporting organization with a single management team. Our History

She worked on numerous high-profile cases, such as The American-Iranian Claims Tribunal in the World Court in The Hague. In 1985, Toby formed TFI and began working with major law firms across the United States. Some of the more notable cases include Philippines v. Marcos, New York v. New Jersey (Ellis Island), Homeland Security Committee for the Bush White House, and transcription services for the Office of President Clinton.

Toby is a member of the National Court Reporters Association and a proud sponsor of many programs and events that benefit the court reporting, legal, and paralegal communities. TFI was a Lawyers Basketball League Court Classic sponsor, benefiting the Special Olympics. The firm also engages in law school and law firm trial clinics, such as the Cardozo Law School Trial Clinic. It has also been recognized by the Coalition of Concerned Legal Professionals with a Certificate of Appreciation.
